1. Who we are and what this covers
This policy explains how WEFTLAB Textile ("we") handles personal information collected through this fabric catalogue website, including fabric search, swatch requests and quote inquiries. It applies to visitors and business buyers worldwide.
2. Information we collect
- Quote inquiries: company name, contact name, email address, country, fabrics of interest, quantity, target price and your message.
- Swatch requests: company name, contact name, email address, delivery address, postal code, country, optional courier account number and your notes.
- Search: the sentences you type and photos you upload to search. We do not ask for your name to search and do not link searches to an inquiry.
- Technical data: IP address and request timestamps, kept briefly to prevent abuse (for example, per-minute search limits). Forms and heavy search use pass a bot check (Cloudflare Turnstile), which reads browser signals but does not track you across sites.
3. How we use it
- To answer quote inquiries and send pricing, minimum order quantities and lead times.
- To prepare and ship swatches, and to keep a record of what was sent.
- To run the AI search: your sentence or photo is sent to our AI service provider to interpret it and compare it with our catalogue, and the result is returned to your browser.
- To keep the service safe and within its usage limits.
We do not sell or rent personal information and do not use it for advertising.
4. Legal basis
We process inquiry and swatch data with your consent, given on the form, and to take steps you ask for before a possible contract. Abuse-prevention data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the service available.
5. Sharing and processors
We share information only with service providers that help us operate the site: website hosting, bot checks, email delivery, AI search processing and courier companies for swatch delivery. They may use the information only to provide their service to us.
6. International transfers
Our service providers may process data outside your country. Where this happens we rely on their contractual commitments to protect it to the standard described in this policy.
7. How long we keep it
Inquiry and swatch request records are kept for three years from the last contact and then deleted, unless the law requires a longer period. Search sentences and photos are not stored with your identity; photos are discarded once results are returned. Abuse-prevention logs are kept for no longer than 30 days.
8. Cookies and browser storage
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser stores your language and theme choice and the contents of your swatch box on your own device so the site works between visits. You can clear them in your browser settings at any time.
9. Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections and access to inquiry records is limited to the staff who handle them.
10. Your rights
You may ask to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information, or withdraw your consent, at any time. Send your request through the inquiry form on this website and mention your request number if you have one. We will answer within 30 days.
11. Children
This site is for business buyers and is not directed at children under 14.
12. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
